Through this space, I help ambitious, purpose-driven women dominate in life, turn their biggest goals into their biggest successes, & make sh*t happen for themselves so that they can have the authentic life and legacy of their dreams.
I started ‘In Her Worlds’ in 2019, whilst on an unforgettable, life-changing journey of self-discovery.
During that time in my life I tried tirelessly to hone in on one passionate pursuit to make my millions (ha!). After all, that’s what society tells us we must do if we’re meant to be successful.
However, deep down in my heart something always felt like it was missing.
With a Bachelors in International Relations and a Masters in International Development, I always knew that I had a heart for helping people, and that changing the world for the better whilst being of service to others was most definitely going to be my life mission.
So as a young 20-something, I ventured off into the working world to do just that! But I hit sooo many obstacles when it came to finding a career path that I truly loved, especially after transitioning back to the Caribbean after living 6 years in the UK.
I tried a wide variety of opportunities that I THOUGHT were perfect for my personality e.g. teaching English overseas, Project Management, Administration, Life Coaching, freelance copyediting & proofreading services…and the list goes on.
But the truth is that I was never fully passionate, excited or fulfilled through any of these post-University career paths.
Which is horrible for a rebellious, free-spirited personality like mine.
As bad as it sounds, it’s extremely difficult for me to commit to what I feel half-heartedly about.
I simply could not put myself in a box, no matter how hard I tried to conform.
My intuition / gut feeling just would not let me.
Therefore, as I journeyed through the last year of my 20s, I realised that if I were to find peace on my career journey I needed to look within myself to find out what I was missing, before the next decade of my life arrived.
I discovered that finding a career that felt true to me was an internal job – not an external search for hitting the career jackpot.
And as a result, I decided to go back to my first love – writing – and turn that into my career instead.
Took a lot of soul searching, self-discovery, trials, errors, judgement, self-doubt, not caring about others’ opinions, and abandoning the status quo of my environment to get to that decision.
But it’s a choice I’ve made that makes me feel good inside out – and that’s what I want to live by.

I am a HUGE academic, who is obsessed with education – diving into courses, trainings and books to learn something new ALWAYS fires me up!
Speaking of which, I am the ultimate book nerd – if given the chance, I would read 24 hours a day. I just love getting lost in a book to either learn something new, or to travel to distant worlds. In my opinion, living without reading is not living at all.
I absolutely love 80s music…to me, it was the best decade for music EVER!
As a hopeless romantic and a sucker for happy endings, “rom-coms” are my jam!
I am an introvert, but I do LOVE getting to know people. I just prefer to skip the small talk and jump right into a deep conversation.
I love all things France, and French culture.
When not thinking about or working on content, I am an adventure-seeking, travel addict who loves to explore new places, make new discoveries, and experience the amazing wonders of the world.
I am a DIY Queen – mani-pedis, facials, skin care, hair care, cleaning and decluttering, laundry, cooking, creating content – whatever it is, I find it extremely therapeutic and enjoyable when I do it myself.
I blog about the topics I care about that I can’t or won’t talk about with fam + friends.
I plan on always showing up as my multi-dimensional, multifaceted self. “Experts” and “gurus” say u have to niche down on one main topic in order to be successful, so a lifestyle blog does not work…but I disagree. I love too many things just to shine light on just one.
I am not a guru; I am just a girl obsessed with becoming the highest version of herself in every area of life.
